Annual Awards
The following perpetual awards shall be presented each year.
The Rouse Cup
Awarded to the winning team.
Most Valuable Player
Awarded to the player who made the greatest competitive contribution during the tournament. Not necessarily the player with the lowest score, but the individual whose performances most influenced the outcome.
Selected by the two Captains.
The Spirit of The Rouse Cup Award
Awarded to the player responsible for the most memorable moment of the weekend — an exceptional golf shot, a decisive putt, an act of sportsmanship, or any moment that best embodies the values and spirit of The Rouse Cup.
Selected by the Founder and, in future years, the President.

Founder's Reflection
People will naturally remember the golf, the matches and the trophies.
But it was never really about the golf.
It has always been about making time for the people who matter most.
Life has a way of becoming busy. Families grow, friends move away, careers evolve and years pass more quickly than we realise. The Rouse Cup was created to ensure that, at least once each year, family and friends have a reason to come together — to laugh, compete, tell old stories, create new memories and simply enjoy each other's company.
If, many years from now, the scores have been forgotten but the friendships remain strong, then The Rouse Cup will have achieved exactly what it was created to do.
